Scroll trough news and write comments. Trust me: You learn something new, can ask questions or just have fun. Go here and reload every few minutes to see whats new:

2.Browse art

Thats the best time wasting. Just scroll down and look at art. You can level your level with voting, you can learn something from the art, you can just look at art and be impressed or you can level your whistle while report E rated nsfw stuff or spam. 3.Search for new users

Type a random letter in search and than go to users, than to date and click on random user and pm them. You have to do this only every few days, because there not much new users.

4.Stalk your friends

Stalking your friends is always interesting. And thanks to newgrounds, that we have a function here to stalk your friends. Idk whos idea that was, but it was a great idea. Just go there:

Do you know that? When you play a nice game and than realize it has no WASD? I will tell you in this news post, why WASD is better than arrows.

1.Bigger buttons

The letter buttons are way bigger than the arrows. So you can play also play games without missclicking. I that there are keyboards with big arrows, but only left and right.

2.Left hand

You play WASD with left hand and can focus with your right hand (the (for the most persons) stronger hand) on attacking or whatever you play for a game. With arrows, you need to use right hand and have to click with your (for the most persons) weaker left hand the interaction buttons.

3.Switch between W and S

You can switch easier between W and S. Try it yourself: Put your right hand on arrows and your left on WASD and switch between up and down (W and S).

4.Q

You can go easy to Q with your left hand. What is in Q? Quests in RPG's! And have to open your quest tab very often or otherwise you kill the demon king instead of trading with him like its told in quests (and thats not from a game lol).

5.Why dont do both?

Why dont do WASD and arrows in games? Its not that hard to program. Than people can choose what they prefer. But doing only arrows is just stupid.

Why does this exist? To explain that, I have to talk about how I find that.

Newgrounds: everything by everyone. That was the slogan of the first website, where everybody can upload their animations. Newgrounds grown a lot in the last 20 years. I will explain in this news post, why newgrounds is still important.

1.Everything

Thats one of the most important arguments. Newgrounds has now everything. They have 4 different categories. You can watch animations here. Some famous studios started here on newgrounds. You can play games. A lot of games started on newgrounds. That was also one of the most used category on newgrounds in the past. But there is more: You can hear nice music on newgrounds. There is everything from relaxing music, to dubstep. Newgrounds has also a art portal.

So you see: Newgrounds has everything, you need for living.

2.No add

Also a important point, when you speak about newgrounds. I know that there is add in nsfw stuff, but somewhere they have to get the money for supporting the portal. But in sfw stuff is no add. And thats pretty nice. A lot of free games platforms has a lot of add. And everybody, who was ever one of these platforms, knows: The add triggers. And that isnt here. You can play games without that stupid add (and I dont know why someone should play a nsfw game, so thats no argument).

3.Newgrounds is chill

Yep, thats an important point. On other platforms, the people swear often. Thats not here on newgrounds. I dont wanna say that nobody swear here, but all in all is the mood here chill. Also on platforms like youtube, do people often write "first" in comments, when they think they are first comment (they are often not). They all stressed there. I dont wanna say, that youtube sucks (I use it too), but newgrounds is way more chill.

4.The system

You can have levels. There are 4 different portals. Yep: I'll talk about the newgrounds system. Its just nice. There is a level system, a medal system and way more. Also there are 4 different portals: The undiscovered portal, wich shows everything by everyone (thats the slogan lol). The approved portal, wich shows only stuff by scooted artists. The featured portal, wich shows only the best stuff from the approved portal. And last but not least the popular portal, wich shows (obviously) the most popular stuff.

5.Nsfw stuff

Idk who looks at that, but I thought its an important point...

6.Colorful profile

This IS an important point. On a lot of social media platforms, you have just dark and light mode (nobody use light mode lol). But thats only for you, but on newgrounds you change it and it is for everyone, who clicks on your profile. Thats important.

7.Your choice

You can move boxes on the starting page and on your profile, to have the best experience. You want music above movies? No problem!

8.Bored? Not on newgrounds!

The background on computer version change every month. That keeps the platform always interesting.

Im sure there are more points than just these, but this is everything, that comes to my mind. When your a newgrounds hater, you have maybe some points against newgrounds. But when you hate newgrounds, why do you even live lol. Newgrounds is the best platform ever and thats a fact!
